Kingston Food Bank thanks, shopping list

Sep 26 2008

I want to thank everyone that has brought us fresh vegetables from their gardens and also the Flotsam & Jetsam Garden Club of Hansville and the Hansville Ladies Aid. Redeemer United Methodist Church comes every month to see what we are short on and they are doing all they can to help.

Thanks also to everyone who is putting food in our barrel at Albertsons.

People with food stamps cannot buy shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, dish soap or laundry soap. We are lucky when we have that. We thank everyone for their money donations as they keep us going.

We have more food going out than coming in so we could use your help. You can drop off donations during our regular open hours or call me to set up another time.

You can call me, Vi, with any questions at (360) 297-3277.

Kingston Food Bank

(The Kingston Food Bank, located on West First Street, is open noon-3 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays when donations may be dropped off.)
