Help brainstorm ideas to fund North Kitsap pool
Aug 13 2008
The public is invited to help brainstorm ideas on how to fund the North Kitsap pool. A meeting will be held 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 in the board room of Student Support Services in the North Kitsap School District offices, 18360 Caldart Avenue NE, Poulsbo.
On Aug. 11, the NKSD school board approved a proposal by Superintendent Dr. Rick Jones to create a citizen advisory group to “monitor and evaluate operations through December” and to “create a business plan” which would offer long-term funding solutions. Pool users and other interested citizens, including members of the Save Our Pool campaign plan will gather to generate ideas.
Everyone is welcome.
