Kingston Repertory Theater brings 'Scrooge' to Wolfle
Nov 26 2008
The Kingston Repertory Theater and the Wolfle PTA present the family holiday classic “A Christmas Carol” in December at Wolfle Elementary off Bond Road in Kingston.
Performances take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays December 6, 13 and 20 with one Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 14.
This is the Charles Dickens timeless tale of an old miser who must face ghosts of Christmas past, present and yet-to-come, as they help to bring kindness to his otherwise cold heart. The ghosts remind him of the man he used to be, the hard truths about what the world is today, and what will happen if he does not strive to be a better man.
Scrooge is brought to life by Kingston’s Scott Snively. The show also features traditional and holiday carols performed by the fifth-grade classes of Wolfle Elementary.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 under 12. A family pack of four is $25. Tickets are available through the Wolfle PTA, Peninsula Video in Kingston, at the door or online from www.kingstonrep.com. A portion of all ticket sales will benefit the Wolfle PTA.
