Miss Kingston Pageant takes place July 26

Miss Kingston 2007-2008 Taylor Wall ends her reign this month when she turns the crown over to another talented young woman.

The Miss Kingston Pageant takes to the stage at 7 p.m. July 26 at Kingston Middle School. Tickets are available from the contestants listed here or at the door.

Here are this year’s contestants.

Anika Kramberger is the daughter of Srecko and Jana Kramberger. She is 17 years old and will be a senior at Kingston High School in the fall. Anika enjoys drawing, running and involvement in school activities. Her favorite subjects in school are art, biology and math. She is the football manager and ASB senior president, and enjoys participating in track. Anika’s Creative Display will be a swing dance to “Jump Jive An’ Wail.”

Danica Rasely is the daughter of Jeff and Jane Rasely. She is 17 years old and will be a senior at Kingston High School in the fall. Danica enjoys singing, writing and running. Her favorite subjects in school are recording arts, French and English. She is involved in cheerleading and yearbook. Outside of school, Danica is involved in her youth group and choir, as well as making time to work. She will be singing “Concrete Angel” by Martina McBride for her Creative Display.

Sierra Moon is the daughter of Ricky and Diane Moon. She is 17 years old and will be a senior at Kingston High School in the fall. Sierra enjoys drawing, dancing and spending time at the beach. Her favorite subjects in school are art and gym. She is involved in track and field, gymnastics, and is president of the Art Club. Outside of school, she is part of her church’s youth group, likes to spend time with family and makes time to work. Sierra’s Creative Display is a gymnastic dance routine from the opening theme song to the Austin Powers movies.

Eva Redfearn is the daughter of John and Teresita Redfearn. She is 17 years old and will be a senior at Kingston High School in the fall. She enjoys drawing, traveling and spending time with her friends. Her favorite school subjects are video, Spanish and English. Eva is involved in volleyball, video production, and she will be playing tennis next year. Outside of school, she helps with cardiac patients and loves to play with cousins and nieces. She will be singing “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang” by Ogie Alcasid for her Creative Display.

Catherine Pasculli is the daughter of Keith and Carla Pasculli. She is 17 years old and will be a senior at Kingston High School in the fall. She enjoys spending time drawing, reading and with her family. Her favorite subjects in school are history, English and German. She is involved with her church, Race for the Cure, and makes time for her job. Catherine’s Creative Display will be performing a dramatic monologue from Elizabeth the First’s speech before the defeat of the Spanish Armada.

Jordan Wall is the daughter of Michael and Brenda Wall. She is 16 years old and will be a sophomore at Kingston High School in the fall. She enjoys singing, dancing and playing basketball. Her favorite subjects in school are English, math and Spanish. Jordan is involved in varsity basketball and treasurer of Interact club. Outside of school, she participates in Race for the Cure and Relay for Life. Jordan will be singing for her Creative Display.
