Klahowya mini-cheer clinic

The Klahowya cheerleaders are hosting a Fall Mini-Cheer Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon tomorrow at KSS.

The clinic is open to all students in kindergarten through seventh grade. Mini cheerleaders will learn a cheer, a dance and some basic cheer techniques. At the end of the clinic, there will be a performance for parents and family members.

Cost is $25 for the first mini-cheerleader and $45 for two or more family members (includes a set of pompoms). Pre-registration is recommended, but onsite registration also is available.

Pumas McTakeover

The Kitsap Pumas took over the McDonald’s on Silverdale Way Wednesday evening in a fund-raising event for the Puma “Cubs” program.

The program raises money for underprivileged kids, giving them the opportunity to learn and play soccer from the Pumas’ professional players and coaches.

Youth flag football

The November Classic Youth (E String) Flag Football Tournament begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at Carpenter Field in Bremerton.

Warren Avenue, North Perry, East Bremerton, Tracyton and other teams are set to compete. The tournament is being hosted by Warren Avenue Pee Wees.

All flag football teams that participated this season in Pee Wees are encouraged to attend.

Basketball training session

High school boys basketball players are invited to attend a training session from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 8 to prepare for the upcoming season.

The session will consist of skill development and conditioning with 30 minutes of controlled scrimmages.

Baseball Pitchers School
