Weekend Rock Roundup: ‘Surf death metal,’ psychobilly

The weekend music lineup begins with the punk rock of Red White and Die! at The Charleston Music Venue, 333 N. Callow Ave., Bremerton, along with What?, Port Townsend’s Superhappy Storytime Land, Muppet Fetish and Portland’s He-Man Woman Haters, starting at 7 p.m. Friday, July 30. Following the punk rock of Friday night, heavy metal band Burn the Harbor hits the stage along with Seattle thrash-metal band Silent Epidemic, Jack Havoc and their surf death metal, and Dying to Bleed from Port Angeles, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 31.
Psychobilly rock band The Swinos start the night off at the Winterland, 1220 Sylvan Way, Bremerton, along with Forth Yeer (pictured at right) and Trailor Park Tweed, starting at 9 p.m. Friday, July 30. The rock metal of PALOOKA will start the night off at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 31, and the music will end with Shoot the Hostage and S.K.I.
Trumpeter Chad McCullough plays with music/art fusion Jazz Canvas from 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 30, at the Knowles Studio, 20432 Noll Road in Poulsbo.
The Careless Hunters bring their rock and blues to their first show in Kitsap County at MoonDogs, Too from 7-11 p.m. Friday, July 30, at 714 Bay Street, Port Orchard. WU
