Road crew served us well | Letters, Jan. 3

Hats off to our wonderful road crew!

This exceptional group of 16 men (road crew, storm-drain crew, mechanics and facilities) who worked so well together.

Long hard hours and the devotion to our little island while most of us were cozy and asleep they were at work for us. Cleaning up the ferry dock to running tandem down Highway 305 to Agate Pass Bridge, which is over and above their requirements.

Mornings brought passable main roads and continued dedication right through Christmas Day and beyond.

This wonderland of snow was absolutely beautiful. We all needed to enjoy the moment and let the complexity of the seasons rest

Hats off to our wonderful road crew... job well done!
