WSF brings long-range plan to Bainbridge
Jan 13 2009
Bainbridge is the next stop on Washington State Ferries' public comment-gathering tour of Puget Sound. WSF is seeking comment on a draft long-range plan to be brought before the Legislature later this month.
WSF chief David Moseley and a crew of planners will hold a hearing from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Bainbridge Commons, 402 Brien Drive.

The 22-year draft long-range plan has already drawn criticism from local leaders and large crowds have turned out to public hearings around Puget Sound.
More than 500 Vashon Islanders attended a WSF hearing last week, while 125 packed a meeting hall on Whidbey Island.
With high turnout expected, a Wednesday hearing in Kingston has been relocated from the Kingston Yacht Club to the Kingston Community Center, 11212 Highway 104. That meeting runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
