Fresh round of snow delays schools, closes roads | UPDATED

Bainbridge schools were delayed two hours Monday morning following a Sunday snowfall. Students return to class today following a winter holiday break.
Downed trees and abandoned vehicles forced the closure of three island roads Monday morning. All roads were reopened by the afternoon.
Puget Sound Energy reported scattered power outages Monday. A PSE spokesperson said the company expected to restore power to all areas by the end of the day.
The National Weather Service is calling for rain and temperatures in the low 40s to upper 50s for the remainder of the week.
