Living Fully: A mindfulness group for those living with chronic illness, chronic pain and challenging life situations will meet from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Wednesday. Sponsored by Helpline House. Info: Sue Anderson, 780-1580.

IVC Volunteers: Volunteers are urgently needed for Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers, a nonprofit committed to assisting the elderly and those temporarily in need with the common tasks of daily living. A volunteer may drive people to important medical appointments, grocery shop or run errands, read to a blind person, clean and/or organize, etc. Volunteers do as much or as little as they like and choose their own areas of service. Especially needed are Seattle drivers and volunteers who live in the Poulsbo area. Call 842-4441 or email ivc@bainbridge.net.

Lyme Disease Support: A support group for people with Lyme disease meets from 3-5 p.m. the first Saturday of every month. Contact for meeting location and info: Barb, 842-5491.

grief SupporT: A new grief and loss support group, sponsored by Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers, meets from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursdays at St. Barnabas Church. This Group is for anyone experiencing any kind of loss. Contact: ivc@bainbridge.net or Karen, 842-4441,

Flowers from the Heart: Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers regularly provides flowers to those who are bed-ridden, housebound or otherwise restricted. We welcome donations of freshly cut flowers or a cash gift for purchase of flowers during the spring and summer months. Place flowers in the buckets provided between 9 a.m. and noon Monday-Friday on the front steps of Eagle Harbor Congregational Church, and our “Flower Ladies” will wrap and then deliver them in bright tissue and ribbons. Postpartum Support: A support group for women during pregnancy and the year following childbirth will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at Grace Episcopal Church. The free drop-in gathering, co-facilitated by Sarah Townsend and Francie Powell, offers women and partners an opportunity to discuss the emotional life of pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting. Narcotics Anonymous: Narcotics Anonymous meets Mondays at 7:30 p.m. and Fridays at 6 p.m. at the Rhododendron Apartments community center at 255 High School Rd. Information: 842-2246 or (206) 794-3392.

Peer Support: Those diagnosed with mental illness can find support on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Helpline House. Information: Nancy, 842-7621 or Jane, (206) 898-6092.

Overeaters Anonymous: OA holds three weekly meetings, 9:15 a.m. Wednesdays, 9 a.m. Saturdays at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church, 105 Winslow Way and 7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays in the Singer Room of Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. Women with Cancer SupporT: The group shares information and emotional support from 1 to 2:30 p.m. each Monday at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church. Contact: Karen at 842-3539 or kitsapcancerservices.org.

MENTAL ILLNESS HELP: NAMI-Kitsap sponsors a support group from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. Family members and friends of people who suffer from serious mental illness are invited to attend for support and education. Contact: call Jane Cartmell, (206) 898-6092 or Joan Pearson, 842-5324.

VIP: The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons support group meets from 1 to 3 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Bainbridge Public Library. Information: 842-3551.

Caregivers Support: Caring for a loved one? A no-charge, facilitated caregivers support group meets at 2 p.m. every Tuesday at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church. All are welcome (drop-ins are fine), and respite care may be arranged through Interfaith Volunteer Caregiving of Bainbridge Island. Contact: Karen Carson, 842-4441.
