Snoqualmie Valley: Where to get flood information on the radio

Residents of Snoqualmie and North Bend can switch on their radios for the latest information on disasters.
New emergency radio station AM 1650 is up and running.
Following the November 2006 floods, the cities of North Bend and Snoqualmie partnered to obtain a license to operate the emergency radio station. Each city has its own antenna, but drivers should hear a seamless broadcast when traveling between them.
Yellow and blue signs can be found in parts of North Bend and Snoqualmie, which flash lights during emergencies.
The radio station can be picked up as far as Preston to the west and Interstate 90’s exit 34 to the east.
The radio messages can be heard more clearly in car radios, North Bend Public Works Director Ron Garrow said.
