Meeting called on Tanner tax area

The city of North Bend will be hosting a pre-construction public meeting for all utility local improvement district (ULID) No. 6 property owners, 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Meadowbrook Farm Interpretive Center, 1711 Boalch Ave. N.W.

At the meeting, ULID residents can meet the general contractor for the project, Northwest Cascade, Inc., and get an outline of work involved and expected schedule. The schedule includes side sewer locations, future connections to the system and associated permitting requirements for connection.

An update of the ULID program will also be provided, including review of the pump station contract, future preliminary assessment mailing and the final assessment process. A question-and-answer period is also planned. For information, call (425) 888-0486 or e-mail to rong@ci.north-bend.wa.us.
