Coalition will try once-a-week teen program Health center will open in North Bend

Within a few months, Valley teens will have a new place in North Bend to receive medical and mental health care, whether they have insurance or not.
Debby Peterman, who has been heading a study on the feasibility of a teen health center in the Valley, announced that several community organizations will team up to pilot a once-a-week program at the the King County Public Hospital District North Bend clinic, near the cinema in downtown North Bend.
Initially, services would probably be offered after school about four hours a week starting sometime before winter, and the program could expand, Peterman said. Its uncertain whether the clinic will be available by appoint-
