• The Eastside Chapter of Women of Vision meet for a brunch and project at 10:30 a.m. They are collecting donations of gently used baby and child toys, clothing and equipment for the Eastside Baby Corner. For more information, call Julie Duim at (425) 396-4547.

Sunday, Oct. 12

• Fifth Annual Dreams of Hope Ladies Auction and luncheon benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital is noon to 3 p.m. at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC. The fundraiser helps children with cancer, heart disease, and young people affected by accidents. Last year, the auction raised more than $55,000 for uncompensated care for children in need.
