Snoqualmie couple opens Preston Subway
Jun 23 2009
Snoqualmie Ridge residents Nishaant Issar and Jennifer Kaslow are proud owners of the new Subway restaurant in Preston.
The restaurant opened June 1 in the remodeled location of the former Preston Post Office, just off exit 22.
A husband-and-wife team, Issar and Kaslow own two Subways in Redmond and at Marymoor Park. They said they love running the franchise and are excited to have a location close to their home community.
The new Subway follows the franchise’s new Tuscany-inspired art model.
Kaslow said the pair plan to make the Preston restaurant a success by being a part of the business, knowing their customers, spending time with employees and putting in plenty of hard work.
Their staff includes three full-time and two part-time employees.
Kaslow and Issar said they chose Subway because of its well-organized operations and name recognition. There are more than 30,000 Subways globally.
Subway isn’t just about footlongs. The Preston store opens at 7 a.m. for breakfast, offering toasted breakfast sandwiches. The franchise also offers oven toasted personal pizzas as well as healthier fare and is positioned as a prime stop for families taking part in dance, soccer and gymnastics at Preston facilities such as the new playfields.
Subway also caters to parties with sandwich platters, six-foot subs, cookies and other items.
There is plenty of parking for visitors. Closing time is 9:30 p.m.
Preston Subway is located at 30365 S.E. Highpoint Way. Call the restaurant at (425) 222-3888.
