Redmond posts online survey for input on public services, programs

Mayor John Marchione and the City Council want to know what citizens think about the services and programs the City of Redmond provides.

A customer satisfaction survey is now online for residents to complete and submit.

The City hired a consulting firm, Gilmore Research to administer the survey. All answers are anonymous and go directly to Gilmore Research for processing.

“As you may recall, the Council and I began a new budgeting system at the City in 2008 based on community priorities,” Marchione said. “This new system also set up a process to measure our performance when delivering on those priorities. This survey helps us track our performance.”

“Resident feedback is critical to help us define the community’s needs and desires with respect to our service to you," Councilmember Richard Cole said. “Citizen satisfaction, or lack thereof, with the City’s programs, events and services indicates where our limited resources can best be spent.”
