Redmond bank robber arrested, faces second-degree robbery charges

The man who allegedly robbed three banks in King County, including one in Redmond, back in September, was arrested by Spokane-area law enforcement Oct. 29.
Tyrone Threlkeld of Wenatchee was booked into King County Jail on Monday and faces second-degree robbery charges, according to Dan Donahoe, spokesperson for the King County Prosecutor's Office. Threlkeld's arraignment is set for Nov. 5, Donahoe said.
Threlkeld entered the Key Bank Branch at 16401 Redmond Way at 2:53 p.m. on Sept. 27 and handed a note to the teller, requesting money, according to Redmond Police.
Threlkeld is also facing second-degree robbery charges for robbing the U.S Bank Branch at 17604 108th Ave. SE in Renton Sept. 25 and the U.S. Bank Branch at 1760 SE 272nd St.in Covington Sept. 15.
