Trader Joe's opens in downtown Redmond Oct. 9

A new Trader Joe's store is scheduled to open at 15932 Redmond Way in downtown Redmond at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9. Store hours will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. The Trader Joe's chain is known for its wide variety of organic and imported foods and beverages at everyday prices.

The 12,000-square-foot Redmond store will feature art with local themes to promote community pride, according to Alison Mochizuki, director of national publicity for Trader Joe's.

Store Captain (manager) for the new Redmond location will be Robert Jarchow, previously with the Bellevue Trader Joe's. First Mate (assistant manager) will be John Olson, previously with the Bellingham Trader Joe's.
