Mr. and Mr. James R. Mitchell of Mercer Island are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexis, to Zachary MacLean, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald MacLean of Fallbrook, Calif.
The bride graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2004 and is a 2008 graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in business. She is employed in the film industry, which produces movie trailers and TV spots for studios in the Los Angeles area.
The groom graduated from Fallbrook Union High School in 2003 and Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 2007. The groom is employed in online marketing. The couple currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. The wedding will be held on Aug. 21, 2010, at St. Monica Catholic Church, and a reception will follow at the Broadmoor Country Club in Seattle.
