Snow White comes to KPC

Nov 02 2009

No matter how hard she tries, poor Snow White can’t seem to please the Queen. The castle doesn’t sparkle, the apple pies are too tart, and Snow White can never polish the magic mirror well enough to properly reflect the Queen’s beauty. Whatever is the Queen to do? And whatever can seven silly men (played by three silly actors) do to keep Snow White safe and out of the Queen’s way?

StoryBook Theater presents “Snow White,” which comes to the Kirkland Performance Center Nov. 14-22. Saturday performances are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., Sunday performances are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The musical fairytale is adapted for ages 3-10 and families. StoryBook Theater writer, director and founder, Lani Brockman, ensures that all StoryBook Theater shows are violence-free. Anything scary in the original fairytale is changed to something funny or zany.

Tickets to the show are $9. For information, call 1-877-827-1100 or visit www.StoryBookTheater.org.
