Kirkland ophthalmologist gets UW award

Dr. Jennifer J. Lee, a Kirkland ophthalmologist, received the 2007-2008 Outstanding Teacher Award for her clinical instruction in eye surgery during the University of Washington Department of Ophthalmology’s 34th annual Resident Alumni Day.
Dr. Lee instructs resident doctors in the University of Washington’s Ophthalmology Department in anterior segment and cornea surgery. The department focuses on common surgeries such as cataract and LASIK as well as rarer surgeries such as Asian Blepharoplasty or “Asian Eyelid” surgery and all trauma-related (injury) surgeries.
Dr. Lee has been practicing medicine since 2000. She has been providing Ophthalmology services in downtown Kirkland since 2004 in addition to teaching eye surgery for the University of Washington since 2006.
