Prodigy to join Sammamish Symphony
Sep 17 2009
The Sammamish Symphony is busy rehearsing for their first concert of the upcoming season, to be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 18 at Eastlake High School’s performing arts center.
The Symphony is very excited to have cellist Julian Schwarz, the 17 year old son of Gerard Schwarz, respected conductor and music director of the Seattle Symphony, featuring in their opening performance.
Julian made his orchestral debut at the age of 11, playing with the Seattle Symphony, and next year will tour with the Moscow State Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Sammamish Symphony is made up of musicians from all over the Eastside.
