The Dragons began their 2008 campaign with a decisive 10-run mercy win over the Wacker Baseball Academy in the Super Series 11U Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz., in March. They followed that up with winning the Baseball Players Association 11U Spring Opener Tournament in Kent. The Dragons won all four of their games in this tournament by virtue of the mercy rule.
