F.I.S.H. friends flock to rummage sale
May 28 2009
Gestin Suttle, executive director of the Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchey (F.I.S.H.), mans the sale table during last weekend’s rummage sale.
Community members and F.I.S.H. staff members donated everything from clothes to games to camping equipment.
All proceeds from the sale benefit the hatchery.
“It’s been great,” Suttle said. “People have been really excited to come out and see what we have.”
Residents swarmed the event Saturday morning, and were lined up before the sale even began, she said.
Sunday was a slower day, but Suttle said overall, they were very pleased with the response to the sale.
