Bon and Amppy Pineda, of Redmond, welcome their son, Aiden, as the first baby born in 2009 at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue. With the couple is Adelyn. A third child, Aliana, is not pictured. Aiden was born at 6:44 a.m. Jan. 1 and weighs 9 pounds and is 20 1/4-inches tall. Bon, an auditor with the state Department of Revenue, said he was aware of the financial advantages of a child born at the end of 2008, but is all smiles over Aiden's 2009 delivery. Grandparents are Bob and Thess Thurgood of Bothell.
