Josh O’Keefe, with Tyee Concrete, presses a form down on concrete to make the outline of bricks on a new traffic safety island between Interlake High School and Sherwood Forest Elementary School on 164th Avenue Northeast. Before the rubber form is pressed down, the concrete is treated with a release agent to it will not pull up the concrete. Bricks are just one of numerous designs that can be stamped into concrete. The work was being done on Thursday, July 17.
