Sep 23 2008

Jessica Simpson, Wynonna Judd and Sergio Mendes will headline the entertainment lineup at the Snoqualmie Casino.

The casino officially opens its doors Nov. 6. Simpson performs the inaugural concert Friday, Nov. 7. This is Simpson’s first concert in the Seattle area since 2004.

Vocalist and entertainer Wynonna Judd plays the casino Wednesday, Nov. 26 as part of her second annual Christmas tour supporting her critically acclaimed Top 10 Billboard Country album, “A Classic Christmas.” Snoqualmie Casino is Wynonna’s only Washington state stop this year.

Mendes, undoubtedly the best-known Brazilian musician in the world, plays Snoqualmie Casino Nov. 28.

Simpson made country music chart history when “Come On Over” broke the record for highest entry into the Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for a newcomer to country. “Come On Over” is from her highly anticipated debut country album, “Do You Know,” released Sept. 9.

Five-time Grammy-award winner, Judd, over the course of her 24-year career has sold 30 million records worldwide, celebrated 20 No. 1 hits and a multitude of gold and platinum records. As a solo artist, she has been awarded the coveted Top Female Vocalist award by the Academy of Country Music, and has enjoyed an impressive 13 top 10 hits on the charts.

Mendes recently released his new album, “Encanto,” to wide acclaim. “Encanto” debuted as the No. 1 Contemporary Jazz Album in the country and also debuted at No. 60 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling Ticketmaster at 206-628-0888 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.

Opening November 2008 and located just off I-90 east at Exit 27, Snoqualmie Casino is the closest and newest casino to Bellevue.

The 170,000-square-foot casino features eight restaurants, lounges and bars, a 51,000 square-foot gaming floor and a 11,000 square-foot Ballroom.
