Douglas M. Johnson of Bellevue died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009. He was 81.

Son of George and Era Johnson, Mr. Douglas was born on July 7, 1928, in Santa Anna, Texas. He was married to Freda on Oct. 27, 1951 and lived most of their life in Greenville, Texas prior to moving to Bellevue in 1992.

Survivors include a sister, Annette, son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Carol Johnson of Newcastle; three grandsons and a great grand daughter.

Memorial Service will begin 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, 1717 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue.

The family suggests memorials to First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue or a favorite charity.

Friends are invited to share memories and sign the family's online guestbook at www.flintofts.com.
