Polling places changed for some

Ten polling places in Bellevue have new locations and King County is urging voters to confirm the location of their assigned polling place before the primary election on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

People can either by call the voter hotline at 206-296-VOTE or by visit www.kingcounty.gov/elections and enter in their name and date of birth or address in “Your Voter Guide” section. This online tool is custom designed for each voter with the location and map to their assigned poll site, sample ballot and official candidate statements.

In addition to receiving a letter and a new voter notification card with information about their new assigned polling place, voters affected by the most recent polling place closures and consolidations will also receive a phone call prior to Election Day reminding them of the closure.

The changed and new Bellevue locations are:

BEL 41-2447, BEL 41-2943, BEL 41-2945, BEL 41-2970, Hilltop, Horizon, Martha and Roanoke from Eastgate School to Eastgate Bible Fellowship, 15005 S.E. 38th St.

BEL 48-0216 and BEL 48-0217 both from Highland Covenant Church to Crossroads Community Center, 16000 N.E. 10th St.
